Candidate endorsement inquiries

Meeting and considering candidates who are invested in making our communitys florish for Washington’s high school students! To qualify for an official WAHSDA endorsement, your campaign must meet our core criteria:
  1. You are filed as Democrat, or you are running for a nonpartisan seat.
  2. Your Campaign is for a  School Board, State, or Federal race. WAHSDA is fully volunteer run and so we try to maximize our bandwidth via these perimeters.
Running for a  local office? If your platform strongly advocates for high school students and aligns with our progressive mission, we still want to hear from you. Please fill out the form below! We look forward to supporting candidates with a strong, positive vision for the next generation.

How can I get involved with WAHSDA if my race does not meet the endorsement criteria?

We’re excited to connect with candidates, even when endorsement isn’t possible! Our goal is to help our members and communities thrive in our local and state democracy. We are always looking for ways for our members to participate in campaigns, volunteer, and gain experience in standing up for democracy. If you would like to have a high school intern on your campaign or if you are planning a door-knocking event to engage high school students, please fill out the form below!
